Property documents can sometimes be required when selling a property to show either that work has been completed properly, or that permission was not required. They include:
Planning permission decision notices that are recorded electronically can be viewed and downloaded from our Public Access website free of charge.
Alternatively you can apply online to receive a copy of a planning permission property document. You will need to know the application reference number of the planning permission property document which you can get from the Public Access website, or by asking us to carry out a planning history search for you.
The current fee for each property document requested is £7.29 and we will aim to provide them to you within 10 working days of your request.

You can ask us to search a property or site address to see what planning applications have been made, if any. This will detail all planning applications that have been made on a property, including historic copies within our archive.
You can submit a request for a planning history search online. The current fees for planning history searches are £18 for a single property request, and £54 for all other requests.
We will aim to provide you with the result of a search within 10 working days, which will include any planning application reference numbers and whether these are available to view on the Public Access website or at the Beverley Customer Service Centre.
