About the centre
Howden Children’s Centre is based on the first floor of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Multi Service Centre; access is gained at the side of the building.Howden Children’s Centre serves the community of Howden and surrounding areas including Gilberdyke, Bubwith and wider villages in partnership with our other Children's Centres- Marshlands and Kingsway. The friendly, passionate and knowledgeable staff team work alongside colleagues from Midwifery and Health Visiting to provide a range of activities and services for children and their parents or carers, grandparents or childminders from pregnancy to age 9.We have recently achieved the Gold Standard Baby Friendly Accreditation which enables us to better support families with feeding and developing close, loving relationships with their babies.
Parking
Howden town centre has two car parks which are pay and display one at the rear of the centre and one on the left if coming into Hail gate from the roundabout or directly right if coming the other way. Parking can also be on the road which depending has a two hour or four hour zone, clearly stated on the eryc posts.

  • One large fully equipped multipurpose room (which can be divided into two) where we hold sessions throughout the week.
  • Baby changing facilities are available throughout the building.

Accessibility
Howden Children’s Centre has a lift which is accessible when you enter the main door to the left; this takes you up to the first floor landing, where there is a large disabled toilet and baby changing facilities.
