Employment help in Bridlington

Explains what employment support is available as part of the Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) funding in Bridlington and opportunities available for people aged 19 years plus who are unemployed.

About the programme

Brid Works is a programme of support for people aged 19 years and over, living in the Bridlington area to gain the skills required to move into employment, education or training.

We offer flexible, face-to-face and online support for people struggling to find sustainable employment.

The programme is personalised to meet individual needs and can help you to gain the skills, training and confidence to get into work.  The programme is fully funded and free to people who join.

What are the benefits?

Brid Works is completely flexible and together we’ll decide how long you need to be with us to get the most out of your time on the programme.

You will be able to work with a personal adviser who will provide you with one-to-one support and you will be able to engage in:

  • Employability workshops that deliver essential skills.
  • Team building and resilience activities that build your confidence.
  • Work placements, work experience and volunteering opportunities.
  • Support to access further education and training.

Where is it held?

We are currently offering pre-arranged appointments both online and face-to-face at the Adult Learning Centre in King Street (above the Library).
