Local development scheme

Information about what the local development scheme is, which documents are included, and what the timescale for completion is.

What is the Local Development Scheme (LDS)?

The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the documents we will prepare as part of the Local Plan over the next 3 years.

Our LDS provides the community and other partners with information on the different Local Plan documents for the area, as well as the timescale, the associated work programmes, budgeting and resources required to produce each document.

The revised Local Development Scheme for the period 2018-2021 was agreed by the council's Cabinet on 4 September 2018.
