Yes, the council manages a community funding website called East Riding 4 Community, a one-stop shop for funding information.  It gives access to a database of thousands of grants, loans and other forms of financial assistance you can search for potential sources of funding for your project.

The council also runs a website for businesses seeking funding opportunities called East Riding 4 Business.

This website allows businesses to search for potential funding opportunities relevant to the size and nature of their business.  It contains details of grants, loans, venture capital, awards and other funding suitable for business:

What is East Riding 4 Community?

East Riding 4 Community is a free, easy to use website designed to help community groups find suitable funding for their projects.  It asks some simple questions about your project, and then the system searches its database and lists possible fund schemes for you.  There is also information about organisations which can offer support, items of local news and details of funding events as well as local success stories.

Who can use East Riding 4 Community?

East Riding 4 Community is available for to all organisations including community and voluntary groups, charities, town and parish councils, sport clubs, schools and social enterprises.

When you start to use the site, you will be asked to complete a short registration form for which you will need a valid email address.

What happens when I register my details?

You will be added to the East Riding 4 Community database and a confirmation email will be sent to you via the email address you provided when registering. The whole process only takes a few minutes to complete. The council's external funding team may also contact East Riding 4 Community users to find out if you have applied for funding and been successful.

Are there any limits on funding searches?

You can carry out as many searches as you wish, for any local, national or European funding which might be available for projects based in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Is there any guarantee of a successful application?

There can never be any guarantee of a successful funding application but using East Riding 4 Community allows the huge range of funding programmes and providers available to be narrowed down to those which match your project’s criteria and increases your chances of a successful conclusion.
